Heavenly Gondola Ride in South Lake Tahoe

If you’ve never done this, you should. Take the Gondola up Heavenly(2.4 miles). This can be a full-day activity. There are shops, restaurants, music, etc at the bottom. Then take the Gondola up and enjoy the view of Lake Tahoe. One up there, you can either hike down, take the Gondola back down. Check their page for more info as it’s been a while since I did that. Yoga Festival @ Palisades Tahoe 7/11-7/13

Visit Gold Bug Park @Placerville 7 days/week

Gold Bug Park is a mining musium where you can learn about the history of gold mining. (of course) There is no admission for the park & the mining museum. Gem panning is $5 / hour and tour prices are $12. There is also dog-friendly hiking trails. Pack your sandwiches and have fun. April – October 10 to 4.
