Land Park

Quaint Homes and Quiet Streets

Want to come down and explore Land Park?  I’d love to give you a 🚗 tour of this community or any other  city or neighborhood in Greater  Sacramento area. Give me a call or just sign up right here on my website and I’ll give you a call.

Along with the Fabulous Forties, Land Park is one of Sacramento’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods to live in. It is located around William Land Park, which is really the hub of the community activity. Its elegant homes are like pages, plucked from a storybook.

The park itself is 207.34 developed acres which includes amenities such as Adventure Play Area, Fairytale Town, Funderland, Sacramento Zoo, Gold Course, Basketball Court, Rock Garden, Wading Pool and much more. It acts as a bridge to South Land Park, a very enchanting neighborhood. On its east, sits Curtis Park, another neighborhood with lush, towering trees and magnificent Mediterranean, Tudor and craftsman style homes.

On the north, it goes all the way to Broadway, where one can have brunch at Tower Cafe,  “Sacramento’s best brunch spot”. Freeport Blvd separates Curtis Park and Land Park and Sacramento City College is right there, walking distance to those who live in either neighborhood. Sutterville Rd is the southern border of Land Park and on the south of it sits South Land Park. Riverside Blvd separates Land Park from Upper Land Park, where Sacramento Historic City Cemetery is located. As mentioned before, Land Park, just like the Fabulous Forties, is a place to visit, even if one is just visiting Sacramento. It would be fun just to walk it, bike it or even drive it. Everything is quite distinctive in this neighborhood. What is strong in this neighborhood is its Sense of Community: They have “Meet your neighbor” events throughout the year as well as advocating for park improvements through a neighborhood association.

Population of Land Park is 8,666 with median household income being $141,684 and  the median price of home is $740,010.  Niche.com ranks it as #3 out of 89 best neighborhoods to raise a family in Sacramento.

  • While San Diego and San Francisco are now renowned for their craft breweries, (appearing on various lists of Best Beer Cities in the U.S.A), Sacramento has a growing reputation as a beer Mecca, with many local breweries being recognized and awarded for the quality and distinction of their offerings. And fortunately, one does not have to drive far from Land Park to find a few of  them. Track 7 Brewery has two locations, with one of them being in Curtis Park at 3747 W Pacific Ave.    Its award-winning brews — such as Panic IPA and Bee Line Honey Blonde, are well known among the local beer aficionados. It is both, kid and dog friendly and offers event spaces to rent. New Helvetia Brewing Company is on the corner of 18th and Broadway and serves stouts, lagers and IPAs. Fountainhead Brewing Company is another local favorite which is submerged between Curtis Park, Land Park and Hollywood Park. It opened its doors in 2016 and serves Red Ale, Mango Seltzer and IPAs, among other tasty beers. It is located at 4621 24th St. Two Rivers Cider Company features brew with exotic flavors such as pomegranate, blackberry and nectarine. It is located at 4311 Attawa in Hollywood Park.
