Rocklin
A place to relax and play
Rocklin is located 23 miles north east of Downtown Sacramento, in Placer County. Nearby cities are Roseville, Lincoln, Loomis and Granite Bay. It was ranked 43 in the “50 best places to live in 2021” by Money.com. Not only does Rocklin offers great schools and a great place to raise their family, but also it offers vibrant shopping and dining options. For those seeking higher education, Sierra College and William Jessup University are in this beautiful city. As far as recreation opportunities are concerned, one will not be bored: there is Quarry Park Adventures for the more brave ones and there are 38 parks to walk dogs, play or just have a family picnic. If one likes the Sierra Mountains and all the outdoor activities they have to offer, living in Rocklin has the advantage of being closer to them. It’s only 79 miles to Truckee, 89 miles to Olympic Valley (Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics) and 111 miles to Reno. Two of Rocklin’s attractions are Roseville Galleria and Fountains at Roseville which feature high-end shopping, restaurants and seasonal family events. These two are technically located in the adjacent City of Roseville but only they are only minutes away. And by the way, the only BassPro Shop in all of Sacramento is located in Rocklin. Great place to look for all your outdoors needs.
