Roseville
Placer County's Largest City
Want to come down and explore Placer County? I’d love to give you a 🚗 tour of this community or any other city or neighborhood in the Greater Sacramento area. Give me a call or just sign up right here on my website and I’ll give you a call.
Roseville has a population of 146,000 and is Placer County’s Largest City. Just like its next door neighbor, Rocklin, it is often listed in the “Best places to live” by online marketing companies. Money.com once ranked it as “45th best place to live in the United States”. According to niche.com, it’s a place where most own their homes and “tends to lean conservative”. Roseville is also an excellent place to retire and was once named “6th Best Place to Retire In The United States”.
There are over 70 well maintained parks with sport facilities and play structures scattered throughout Roseville’s three distinctive sections-West, Central and East Roseville. Roseville is also a very bicycle-friendly community with more that 90 miles of bike lanes and 32 miles of off-street paths. It has two state-of-the-art medical facilities: Sutter Roseville Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center.
Proximity to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Truckee, Lake Tahoe, Reno and just all the outdoors of Northern California, makes Roseville in particular, and Placer County in General, one of my most favorite places to live. Two of Roseville’s attractions are Westfield Galleria and The Fountains which feature high-end shopping, restaurants and seasonal family events.
Another feature which makes Roseville such desirable place to grow roots in, is having highly rated public schools. (see below)
Distance from Roseville to Downtown Sacramento is 20 miles, to San Francisco is 105 miles, to Reno is 115 miles and to Sacramento International Airport is 26 miles.
